Celebrating Black History Month: EverWild's Floral Tribute and a Year-Round Commitment

As October is drawing to a close and the world turned its attention to Black History Month, a time to celebrate the vibrant culture, remarkable achievements, and enduring legacy of Black individuals throughout history. This year, EverWild had the incredible privilege of joining the Pinterest Creators Inclusion Fund in crafting a vision that not only captures the essence of this celebration but also underscores the importance of honouring Black culture year-round.

A Vision of Beauty, Resilience, and Creativity

We were overjoyed when EverWild received an invitation to bring forth a floral vision for the Pinterest Creators Inclusion Fund, dedicated to celebrating Black History Month. Our concept was born from a deep appreciation for the resilience and creativity that Black culture embodies.

Imagine a vivid palette of colors, captivating patterns, and wild, untamed grasses set against the backdrop of robust concrete blocks. This was our way of symbolizing the strength and tenacity discovered amidst adversity.

We didn't stop there. We chose to house these vibrant blooms in handmade black vessel bowls, each one overflowing with stories and artistry. These vessels represented the incredible Black creatives who inspire us every day.

A Celebration That Lasts Beyond October

While Black History Month is a time to shine a spotlight on the past and present achievements of the Black community, it is essential to remember that this celebration should not be confined to just one month.
